Research Fellow in Archaeology Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Southampton United Kingdom Dr Stephanie L. Blankshein, MFA Historic Preservation, MSc Maritime Archaeology, PhD Archaeology Stephanie is a Research Fellow in the archaeology department at the University of Southampton. She has a background in education, historic preservation and archaeology and has worked on a range of projects in community heritage and engagement, capacity building, heritage surveying and recording, and archaeological excavation and survey in a variety of locations around the globe. In recent years she worked on EduMUST, an EU-funded capacity building project focused on museum studies in Egypt, and was an integral field and outreach team member on the internationally renowned Black Sea Maritime Archaeology Project. Her education and diverse background have led to a strong interest in knowledge generation and the incorporation of contemporary perspectives into the social sciences.
