Anees Janee Ali (aneesali@usm.com) is an Associate Professor in International Business Section at School of Management, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and has been working at USM since 2003. He received his PhD and master’s from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands with a thesis, entitled, “The intercultural adaptation of expatriate spouses and children”. He has been teaching courses and conducting research in International Human Resource Management, Expatriates’ and Repatriates’ Intercultural Adaptation, International Management, International Business, Business Communication and Organizational Behaviour. His research interest among others are Intercultural adaptation, Expatriate adjustment, International Human Resource Management, Graduate Employability and a few others. He is an active person in founding and organising many international and local events and programmes for students across ASEAN such as AFLES (ASEAN Future Leaders Summit), AFLES ASEANPRENEUR Pitching Competition, USM International Week, A Night of Hope and many more. He is devoted to share his knowledge and experiences in developing leadership skills among students.
