Van Thi Thanh Tran graduated with a doctorate in 2011 and became Associate Professor in 2015. She has participated in teaching at the university for 20 years. She has published works on issues of British colonialism in colonial India, on international relations between countries in Asia, and on cultural exchanges between Indian and Chinese communities. in Vietnam. Carrying out scientific research on culture and community tourism, she has interest in the history of colonialism, international relationship, and cultural exchange between nations. Currently, she is the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Education at Saigon University
