Ricardo Oliveira is Senior Expert for navigation systems and innovation at EUROCONTROL. Ricardo is responsible for product and project management, developing and delivering innovative solutions as well as providing strategic direction in the field of civil-military aviation, and delivering expertise to stakeholders. Prior to taking his role, he led the CNS/ATM department in the Portuguese Air Force with recognised achievements in leadership and management, and business development. He is an enthusiast of a culture of learning and leadership so that teams work as a united front, with expertise and purpose, to pursue strategic objectives. Ricardo earned an Executive MBA from Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management, a Master’s degree in Corporate Sciences from ISEG, and a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Portuguese Air Force Academy. He received an Honour Award for outstanding academic achievement and Honour Awards for outstanding professional work and personal skills.
